In this video I will show you one of the many possibilities of adding a looper to your set up. I am using a stereo amp and an  A+B switcher with a BOSS looper and FX unit to sample a few patches and blend them together while also having the ability to pan them left and right . This is a great way to step out of the box and  a great starting point for creating your own looper set up.

BOSS RC-30: CHANGING THE RECORDING PATTERN

Changing the recording pattern on the BOSS RC-30 couldn’t be any easier. By watching the YouTube video below or following the few simple directions, you can change the recording pattern from RECORD/OVERDUB/PLAY to RECORD/PLAY/OVERDUB.

Step 1: While RC-30 is powered off, hold down the TAP TEMPO button.

Step 2: Insert 1/4 INCH CABLE to power on the RC-30 (while still holding the TAP TEMPO button).

Step 3: (Display will read “RD” meaning Record/Overdub).  Press the UP ARROW button so that the display reads “RP” meaning (Record/Play).

Step 4: Press TAP TEMPO button to confirm selection.

Your RC-30 is now ready to go!

How my Floyd Rose made me $20.00.

 

I remember years back I was hanging out with a friend and he said,  ” I bet you $20.00 that you can’t play a song on one single string without using any frets”. Little did he know I had a guitar equipped with a Floyd Rose double locking tremolo, without that I wouldn’t have been able to prove him wrong and win his $20.00.  Here is my single string no fret rendition of a Christmas classic that made me $20.00 richer.
