MXR M80 DI
MXR M80 Bass D.I.+ :Every gigging guitar and bass player knows how useful a good direct box can be in times of desperation. The MXR M80 Bass D.I.+ is a super versatile and great sounding direct box that offers you a fat sounding 3-band EQ preamp as well as a distortion circuit if you want to add a little grit (or a lot) to your signal. What I like about the MXR M80 as opposed to other popular bass direct boxes on the market is it doesn’t add that artificial sounding “mid scoop” to your tone that you may be familiar with. The M80 seems to preserve the tone of your bass while giving you the ability to alter it if you want to juice up your sound. In the video below, I will demonstrate the wide range of tones that the MXR M80 DI is capable of! Bass players, stop by Easy Music Center and check out the MXR M80 DI!

Bass Fuzz Deluxe
The award-winning MXR Bass Innovations line presents the MXR M84 Bass Fuzz Deluxe! MXR dug up a rare vintage fuzz and modified it for the modern bassist. The resulting stompbox delivers a cutting and bold fuzz tone without degrading the punch and clarity of your original signal.
The M84 is a lot of fun because of its ability to run a clean and dirty sound at the same time. This is the way a lot of rock stars get a huge sound, but they wont ever tell you that because that is one of their big secrets.
With separate Dry and Wet level controls, the Bass Fuzz Deluxe sounds like you’re running two different amps. Blend to taste, from subtle hairiness to full on raging fuzz, with Fuzz and Tone controls affecting only the Wet signal. The Bass Fuzz Deluxe also features true hardwire bypass.

I have waited for this pedal for a long time! Ever since I first heard Eric Johnson’s magic tone, I’ve wanted one. Well at least since I first learned that he used a fuzz face as part of his legendary magic tone . The funny thing is that I have never been a huge fuzz pedal fan until now. EJ worked closely with Fuzz Face guru Jeorge Tripps to create his signature pedal. It is inspired by EJ’s prized personal Fuzz Faces and is built to his incredibly strict specifications, featuring hand-selected BC183 silicon transistors (for higher gain), custom repro ’68-’69 knobs, and a vintage-style hammertone finish. The result: a beautifully dynamic, expressive, and powerful pedal. “I first heard the Fuzz Face when I was about 12 and loved playing through it,” he says. “It’s the classic tone used by Jimi Hendrix, one of my greatest influences. No other pedal gets this type of sound. It’s the pinnacle of psychedelic fuzz. In the accompamying video we have a quick clip by EMC customer Hale and his EJ rig minutes after hooking up this pedal and taking it for a spin.
Too many times have I seen it happen… A guitar player is totally going off with his performance and then BANG! Their axe goes straight to the floor. Don’t be that guy!
Dunlop Straploks are for everyone. They allow you to securely lock the strap of your guitar to the body. If you are an aggressive performer, or just have an expensive instrument, these are invaluable!
In the video, we describe what parts come in the package, how to install them, and how easy it is to use your strap with these locks.

For all you brutal metal heads out there, MXR’s Fullbore Metal Pedal is one pedal you can’t afford NOT to have. If you have ever wanted to have brutally low breakdowns but can’t seem to get rid of all the white noise in between your syncopated chugs then this is the pedal for you!
With a built noise gate to cancel out all those harsh screeches and feedback and a mid scoop to give you that extra brutal sound, this pedal is leagues above all others. This pedal is perfect for drop tunings as low as you wanna go without loosing any of that crisp bite that you look for in your favorite metal album.

The MC404 CAE Wah was developed by Bob Bradshaw of Custom Audio Electronics and the Cry Baby. I’ve been playing around with this Wah, and I have come to discover that it is very cool and different than most wah pedals available. One thing I’ve noticed is how quiet and transparent sounding it is. I also noticed that it has a very wide sweep range. It features dual Fasel inductors with two voices (a low to high sounding sweep and a low to mid sounding sweep as well), and a built-in MXR MC401 Boost/Line Driver helps you maintain high gain levels for all out kinetic lead wah frenzy . It also boasts true hardwire bypass, a long-life CTS potentiometer, and internal pots for “Q” and gain adjustments, choice between a red and yellow fasel inductor , side-mounted kickswitches; bright LEDs on each side of the wah indicate operation status. Check out this quick demo. Come down and try it for yourself!
