TC Electronic RH450

Posted By on July 18, 2011

Looking for a light weight bass rig that is actually usable on stage? The RH450 head was designed for you. It has 450 watts of power at 8ohms. It’s a digital amplifier but they designed it to behave like a tube amp with features like the built in tube tone and active power management so it has great feel and sound plus the efficiency of digital circuitry. On the back it has an AES/EBU output and a S/PIDF output allowing the highest possible sound quality and less latency.  One added benefit for live performers is the ability to save preset sounds within the head. With the optional foot switch it is possible to switch in between the presets. The most convenient part about this amp is it works around the world. The built in power supply can handle 90-240 volts. This is one of the most well thought out bass heads on the market right now. Check out
