The Electro Harmonix germanium overdrive enables you to achieve that warm distortion sound .

Hey there, folks! Have you ever played a distortion pedal that had a weak battery, but you thought it sounded killer? Well, your search for trying to create the weak battery effect is now over. The Electro Harmonix germanium overdrive will help you achieve that tone by enabling you to lower the voltage on your pedals down to 3 volts. Check out this new pedal from Electro Harmonix. It can sustain a chord or note as long as you need it to. In this demonstration I wanted to show how well it can work with other pedals like the POG. If you’re a solo musician, this pedal could add another layer to your live performance, ultimately getting you closer to sounding like a full band! Come in and check it out!

Whats up rockers?  I just wanted to point out that effects pedals made for guitars don’t have to be only for guitars.  If you play surf, reggae, dub or psychedelic rock you might want to consider putting some reverb on your snare to add some depth to the sound of your kit!  Here, we have Kainoa kicking a fresh beat on the drum set and an SM57 on the snare with an Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Reverb pedal on the mic.  Enjoy!

Beatbox Jam With Loop Station and FX

Posted By on January 26, 2011

Recently I had the privilege of going to the winter NAMM show in Anaheim. One of the events that stuck out the most in my head was the Boss Loop Station Battle which was held at the House Of Blues. It blew my mind at how talented and creative these artists really were with just a Loop Station. I know I did a post last year using the RC-20, but my recent trip inspired me to add a few effects pedals to create more sounds. In this post I am using the Boss RC-20, an Electro Harmonix Hog (octave pedal), and a Digitech Vocal 300.  Even though I’m not very good at it, I had a lot of fun making this video. If you have any questions on how to put together your own set up please feel free to visit me at our Pearl City location!
