Posted By on December 6, 2011

If you like the sound of full Jazz chords on an ukulele, this is the one for you.  This ukulele will give you a wider range of tones compared to a traditionally tuned ukulele.  For those of you who do not know what the baritone tuning is, revert to the following:  First string is “E”, second is “B”, third is “G”, and the fourth is “D”.  Traditional ukulele are tuned a fourth higher.  This video shows off the wood they are made of, the tuning of the ukulele, and a little song that I made up so you can hear what it sounds like.

The Martin S1 Ukulele : Classic Martin Sound

Posted By on August 5, 2011

We now  carry Martin Ukuleles!  This particular one that I am playing in the video is the S1. This soprano is made with real mahogany, has 17 frets ( most sopranos only have 12), and has a nice  tone.  It reminds me of my Great-Grandfather’s old Martin which is the real deal! It’s an awesome buy to add to your collection.  Check out the video below to get an idea of how it sounds.
