On Stage Stands: MSA7040TB – Tele-BOOM goes the dynamite!

Posted By on February 20, 2012

For those of you out there who already own a straight style microphone stand, check out this Top-Mount Tele-Boom attachment from On Stage Stands. The MSA7040TB offers you the option of getting a little more height or clearance from your straight microphone stand. It fits onto all standard 5/8″ mic-stand threads and allows adjustment for angle and length. The telescoping portion of the boom collapses to 19″ and expands to 32.5″, allowing you to place the microphone further from the base.

Get the most out of your microphone stands by adding the MSA7040TB Telescoping Boom attachment!

Shure Mic Listening Lab

So I was checking out the Shure website when I stumbled across this. What’s this? It’s the Shure Mic Listening Lab. So what is it? It’s a collection of recordings done with Shure’s top microphones. Shure took their microphones in the studio and did various recording from different sources, such as, spoken voice, singing, drums, guitars, and more. I always wanted to do recordings of each microphone we had and post them on the web, I’m glad Shure beat me to the punch. If you’ve been wondering what that KSM9 or that BETA91 sounded like, take some time to check out this site.

Check out this funny video on the PreSonus 1box. We only have a limited supply this month so get em before they are gone! This package is awesome for the money. At only $249, it is a steal. The Studio One software is unreal. I have been using it in my home studio, and I have found it very intuitive and powerful. The plug-ins that come with it, from effects to instruments, are awesome. The loop collection is also stellar. It is unreal that you get this software with this package (or any PreSonus interface for that matter).
