Hey all, here’s a vid of me playing the new cajons we just got in at our King St. store! What’s a cajon you say? Well it’s a box drum that was originated out of flamenco music. Nowadays, you can find cajons in many other contemporary styles of music. Lots of people use them in acoustic singer/songwriter situations, or jam sessions. It’s great for those times when you need a drumset-like sound but not the volume that comes with it.

I used my iPhone, along with Blue Microphone’s Mikey to record this. The cajons all sound really good! The Mikey did them justice. You can find all of these products at our store, but hurry, these cajons tend to sell out super quick!
