Check out this cool 5150 full stack @ the Fender booth that personally belonged to Eddie Van Halen. He even striped it himself, which is surprisingly not hard to do. All you have to do is

PreSonus Goes Bigger!

Posted By Jericho on January 21, 2010

Since the release of the StudioLive 16.4.2, PreSonus has been on the top of the charts for the 16 channel mixer category. It was a new fresh look to the digital mixer and no one could have predicted the amount of people who opted into getting one. As if things couldn’t get better for PreSonus, at Winter NAMM 2010 they just released a bigger and better version of the StudioLive. Get ready for the StudioLive 24.4.2!

First NAMM Experience

Posted By Jericho on January 20, 2010

So NAMM is over and I’m back in Hawaii. It was a really fun experience and I’m glad I got to go. Seeing all the new products that I otherwise would only be able to see online was pretty awesome. Even seeing all the musicians was pretty cool too, like Gregg Bissonette. Don’t worry though about the new product thing. All the cool the stuff we saw, we’re going to bring it in, but for now it’s a secret ;)

We’re Back from NAMM!

Posted By Chris on January 18, 2010

Hey all,

We just got back from the NAMM show. My apologies for the layout of the site and all the pictures. It was very hard to organize everything with the very slow networks up there. I’ll work on cleaning up the site this week, but check out all of the new gear that we saw in person in Anaheim.

Kala Pocket Ukulele

Posted By Peter on January 17, 2010

I’m in the airport on my way back from the NAMM show. I feel very lucky that Mike Upton, the owner of Kala ukulele, gave me my very own Kala Pocket Ukulele (with my name inscribed on it no less) at the NAMM show. When I first saw it, I thought it was a joke. I thought sopranos were tiny, but this thing is on a whole different level. Pocket Uke? I’m calling it my PUKE. I’m excited to have it while I wait an hour for the flight to board. I hope people around me don’t get too irritated at the two songs that I know. Yep. You can really play this thing. It takes a little getting used to because it is so small that you can’t cradle it under you arm, but it is a lot of fun, and I am surprised how much sound it has for such a small size. The intonation is on too. We will be carrying them in the store soon. This uke is a chick magnet. I’ve gotten a lot of smiles and comments from the ladies as I sit here… Thanks Mike!
