Dunlop MC404 CAE Wah, It’s the Wah you Wahnt!!

Posted By on February 22, 2012

The MC404 CAE Wah was developed by Bob Bradshaw of Custom Audio Electronics and the Cry Baby. I’ve been playing around with this Wah, and I have come to discover that it is very cool and different than most wah pedals available. One thing I’ve noticed is how quiet and transparent sounding it is.  I also noticed that it has a very wide sweep range. It features dual Fasel inductors with two voices (a low to high sounding sweep and a low to mid sounding sweep as well), and a built-in MXR MC401 Boost/Line Driver helps you maintain high gain levels for all out kinetic lead wah frenzy . It also boasts true hardwire bypass, a long-life CTS potentiometer, and internal pots for “Q” and gain adjustments, choice between a red and yellow fasel inductor , side-mounted kickswitches; bright LEDs on each side of the wah indicate operation status. Check out this quick demo.  Come down and try it for yourself!
