Molokai’s own Pa’akai came to the King street store on Sat on Jan 30th to do a little shopping, and we invited to them to play a couple of songs for us . They rocked ! But that was only the warm up as the band went on to win 1st place and the title of “Best High School Band” at the annual Brown Bags To Stardom competition. All of us at Easy Music Center would like to congratulate you guys and extend an open invitation to come on down and jam any time at the store. All the best on your future and keep making great music!
A portion of their performance is being aired on OC16-Brown Bags To Stardom this week. You can also find their full performance on Youtube by entering Pa’akai.
Al Green can still move and sing for a guy who is 66 years old. Konfonnit security guys wouldn’t let me get close enough for a real pic with my beggar ticket.
