Hey guys! Justin here, and I recently got to spend some time with the new Stomplab IIB Bass Processor from Vox. This little guy has a lot of similarities to the VT series of modeling amps in terms of features as well as aesthetics. The three knob layout makes it very easy to dial in (unlike many other multi-effect guitar/bass processors on the market that require some major tweaking to get a usable tone). The Stomplab IIB features over 80 different presets which the user can also modify to his or her own liking, however I was pretty impressed with some of the stock sounds. You can get anything from a fat, round finger style tone to an aggressive synth sweep and just about everything in between. The expression pedal on the far right of the pedal serves as a wah, or a volume pedal depending on what preset you are on, giving you even more flexibility. Oh, and did I mention how small this thing was?! Put three boss pedals side by side and you have the size of the Stomplab IIB…It is very friendly to over crowded pedal boards with not a lot of real estate left. Come check it out!

If your looking for a new looper with some extras built in, check out this looper. The Vox VDL1 not only works as a looper but it has an incorporated effects pedal. It also has a whammy and a wah built into it. Vox even designed effects for the loops themselves. These effects include reverse, fade in and out, shutter, and filter. This is one looper that is definitely worth checking out!
This product is for all you solo musicians that want more versatility in your looping abilities. You can record multiple tracks on one phrase. That means you can have a bass line on one track and rhythm on another and switch between tracks, turning off the first one you started. The video below has a brief example of starting a loop, switching the tracks, and stopping the existing tracks. Check it out. I hope this gives you some ideas!
